Flight Planning
Flight Planning & Weather

Prime's highly-qualified team of licensed dispatchers will ensure that all of your flight planning needs are met using a variety of tools and resources. With Prime, you have access to various flight planning programs, including ARINC Direct, ForeFlight, and PPS. We can replicate your preferred flight plan format. Routing best practices, optimization, and acceptance are key components to the flight planning process. All NOTAMs are checked and deciphered to make sure you don't have any surprises during the process. Advanced flight planning, including weight-and-balance, runway performance analysis, ETOPS, ETPs, and driftdown calculations are included as needed. All flight plans are ensured to be on file and accepted by the proper authorities prior to departure.

Our team of degreed and professional meteorologists will provide an abundance of text and graphical weather, including prognostic charts and analyses. In addition, our meteorology team provides a hand-written weather briefing specific to you route of flight, current weather conditions, and flight profile.

The day prior to your estimated departure you will receive a summary flight plan with the route, flight times, and estimated burns, as well as a comprehensive weather summary for your review. On the day of flight, you will receive a complete flight plan and weather package, including the filed plan, a full weather briefing, any necessary charts and information, a trip status report outlining all requested services, and all the necessary regulatory forms. Flight plans can be uplinked via ARINC Direct, Honeywell Forge, and Satcom Direct. All flights are actively monitored by our 24/7 flight following team and movement messages are sent on your behalf to any stakeholders and down-line stations.

Ground Handling
Ground Handling & Supervision

Prime provides safe and efficient ground handling operations, including marshaling, parking, loading and unloading of baggage and cargo, aircraft cleaning, positioning, refueling, catering, and technical support. Services like ground power units, tugs, portable air conditioning, and stairs are also provided. All aircraft services and movements are overseen by a qualified supervisory agent whose main job is to ensure exemplary and timely service. Not only will the supervisory agent oversee the performance of services, but will also prepare all documents, including flight documents, flight plans, and regulatory forms and reports. Once you land at your destination, you will be met by a friendly face who understands the nature of your operation. They will accompany all of the passengers and flight crews through the regulatory processes, including Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine (CIQ), offering a helping hand and acting as a translator and customer advocate through the entire process. They will make sure you are safely transported to your final destination and will remain available to support you through the entirety of your stay. Crews and passengers arriving via commercial carriers can take advantage of VIP meet-and-assist services if required. Access to crew and passenger lounges and other VIP/VVIP facilities is available in most locations.

Permits
Permits & Navigation

Prime is the global leader in permitting and navigation processing services. We provide those services to many corporate operators in both the private and charter environments, as well as many other international service providers, airlines, militaries, and heads-of-state operators. No provider has the track record of Prime when it comes to successfully obtaining permits and clearances around the globe. Whether your permits be routine or short-notice, Prime has you covered.

Permit services include overflight permits, landing permits, permits-to-proceed (PTP), special airworthiness approvals, non-standard approvals, airport slots, airway slots, PPRs, landing rights, diplomatic permits, military approvals, and special-use permits. A number of block, seasonal, and blanket permits are available in many places around the planet.

Prime is a direct-to-the-source provider who deals exclusively with Civil Aviation Authorities (CAAs), Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs), and foreign governments (unless prohibited by law or mandate). This direct approach removes any unnecessary "middle men" from the equation and allows us to secure approvals efficiently. Acquiring short-term permits (less than the required lead time) are commonplace and a daily occurrence for Prime and our clients. The relationships we have forged over the years, combined with the volume of business we handle with these various entities, gives us priority with our requests and allows us to boast a 99%+ success rate on obtaining even the most difficult approvals on time.  In addition to the ability to secure permits ethically and efficiently, Prime is a global navigation fee clearinghouse, and a trusted partner of IATA to manage enroute navigation and usage fees. We manage any historical or current navigation debts with the authorities around the world, ensuring that your missions go as planned and there are no surprises in flight. Additionally, with Prime, you will not wait months to be invoiced for navigation fees, even in the most remote or historically difficult regions.
